Construction

Paraprofessional: Armando Fuentes and Scott Bunn
Students will receive a basic overview of the construction industry. They will start by learning basic safety procedures including CPR and First Aid, as well as a 10-hour OSHA certificate. Students will quickly learn how to use hand and power tools in the classroom, then transfer those skills over to the CTC Project House in Timberline Acres in Holland.
• Learn all aspects of residential construction including concrete, rough framing, finish carpentry, exterior finishes and blueprint reading.
• Develop skills in teamwork, leadership, technical & hands-on skills, and math.
• Time is split between learning in the classroom/lab and applying at the CTC Project House.
