Health Careers/Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)

In this program, you will learn the information and skills necessary to become a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA). CNA's work in nursing homes, hospitals, home care, rehabilitation centers, and assisted living facilities. You will learn how to provide basic patient care to people who are sick or disabled.  Students learn to take vital signs, provide personal care (bathing, dressing, oral care, etc.), assist with moving patients depending on their needs, and document/report on patients.   Upon completion of the CNA program, a state exam must be taken to receive certification.
