Direct Credit
Careerline Tech Center students have the opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school. It gives students a head start...college credit for high school classes. Early college credit is actual college credit earned while in the Environmental & Agricultural Sciences program. The credit appears on a college transcript and can be transferred to many colleges and universities throughout Michigan. A significantly reduced fee is charged for each college class. Classes offered for early college credit are taken through Lake Michigan College and Muskegon Community College.

Articulated credit is credit that a specific college/university grants for classes taken at Careerline Tech Center. Credit is posted to a transcript after the student has completed a certain number of classes at the college or university. There is no charge for articulated credit and it generally cannot be transferred from one college to another.
