Some students will get the opportunity to work on customer cars. There is a lot of variety to the day as students learn about all aspects of auto body repair, including some custom work and transformation projects. Some of the tasks include analyzing damage, estimating the cost of a repair, repairing small dents, welding following I-Car standards, plastic welding, filing, grinding, sanding, priming, and surface preparation, followed by the full refinishing/paint process.
