MiMTSS

Michigan's Multi-Tiered System of Supports framework (MiMTSS), formerly known as Michigan's Integrated Behavior and Learning Support Initiative (MiBLSi), is part of the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) to provide a cotinuum of technical asstance to intermediate school districts, local school districts and individual schools in a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework.  Their mission is improve outcomes for all learners by assisting educators in developing infrastructures to support high-quality and sustained implementation of effective, data-driven practices within a Multi-Tiered System of Supports framework.

The program’s focus include:

• Local implementation of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) 
• Local implementation of school-wide scientifically based reading instruction
• Development of structures to support effective practices that are implemented correctly and consistently
• Development of structures to support the sustainability and scale-up of MTSS
